Infographics of TED Presentations
I had the great pleasure of meeting Ken and Rebecca Hope from Motive8 Infographics at the VizThink conference this year.
Our discussions at the conference, along with the Podcast we published prior to the event, has lead to our partnering for Information Architecture and Infographics services for clients around the world.
I recently found this PDF, 200 page book, showing the power of Infographics when trying to communicate ideas, published by Autodesk, a major sponsor of TED 2008.
I’ve been seeing Infographics used more and more within organizaitons and in particular at the conferences I’ve attened this year.
Below is an example of an Infographic created by members of the team at Adaptive Path as presentations were unfolding at their annual MX conference.
You can find Podcasts of the event at Boxes and Arrows.
Adaptive Path had members of their team at the back of the room during each presentation sketching out key points. I think if more companies implemented Infographics into their own work, clarity of thought and process could be dramatically improved.
