Some questions stay with me because experience keeps changing the answer.
My answers have changed. Some ideas have held. Others look different after more experience. A few I no longer believe.
This is not an attempt to make the past agree with the present. It is a place to keep working through the questions.
Confidence helps leaders make choices. It can also make those choices harder to reconsider. What conditions allow contradictory evidence to reach a decision and still carry weight?

My first work after university was supporting people who had experienced traumatic brain injuries. It taught me that theory can prepare us for complexity, but it cannot replace the person in front of us.

Some questions need more room than a shorter piece or notebook page can give them.
AI can expand what is possible without improving how an organization decides.
Each local adjustment that moves an initiative off course is reasonable on its own. That is what makes drift a decision structure problem, not an execution problem.
Coherence is what lets a decision move through an organization without being quietly reinterpreted.
Building something changes the questions. Ascend is what I am building and testing now, and some of what I learn will find its way here.
I do not expect every idea here to resolve neatly.
The questions move across technology, product, design, leadership and strategy. The context changes, and so does what the question reveals.
That is reason enough to keep returning to them.
